Lauren Ingram


Lauren has been featured in the media a number of times, and has been nominated for prestigious awards and innovation programs over the last year. Lauren has been nominated for the LGBTI Journalist of the Year award for 2018, for her work writing about women's and LGBTIQ rights. In early-2017 she was shortlisted for the Walkley's Innovation Program for her travel magazine Adventuress. 

In June 2017, Lauren spoke out about being raped and the incompetency of the police officers who investigated her violent rape. She was subsequently featured on a radio documentary by ABC RN's Background Briefing. In 2012, Lauren put in an FOI request to her university and spoke out when she was was threatened by the university and told to withdraw it.
